Pat McAfee reacted to the lapse in security during the final of the Copa America 2024 between Colombia and Argentina. The WWE commentator felt there was a need to tighten up the stadium before the FIFA World Cup 2026. He claimed there were a lot of fans from Colombia and a few from Argentina who jumped over the gates, scaled the stadium, climbed through the vents, and fought cops.
"Our stadiums need to tighten up. They need to tighten up. I saw humans from Colombia I think. Maybe some Argentinians as well. But mostly yellow. I saw them jumping over the gates, scaling the stadium, climbing through vents, and fighting cops," said McAfee in his show. He felt it was an absolute mayhem in the stadium. The popular commentator further addressed the delay in the final.

He said the final in Miami was supposed to take place at around 7:30 PM but eventually happened around 9:45 PM. He claimed that the security guards were trying to get the fans illegally trying to enter the stadium. Pat noted that the escalators were broken and was unhappy with the state of the stadium. He questioned the motive of the fans behind illegally entering the stadium through various means.

"This game was supposed to start at like 7:30 or something it didn't until 9:45. Because they were trying to get people out of there. There were escalators that had glass just absolutely broken and demolished. That is Miami Dolphins stadium after the Copa America final last night. Who knows what those vents are supposed to do? I mean the humans are running in and out," added Pat in his statement.
"And where is the other side of these vents? Where were they dropping into?" asked Pat. A few days back on the Pat McAfee show, the Wyatt Sicks showed up and conquered the arena.
