Wrestling legend Rey Misterio passed away at the age of 66. The official handle of Lucha Libre AAA took to X and confirmed the news. Misterio Sr. is the uncle of the WWE legend Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio. Poor health got the better of the Mexican wrestler Miguel Ángel López Días who inspired a lot of individuals to take up wrestling.

The news of Misterio Sr. passing away was shared by Rey Mysterio. Taking to social media, the WWE Superstar confirmed that his dad was no more.
