Will Penta El Zero Miedo be Rey Mysterio's partner to face New Day on WWE Raw's Netflix Premiere?

Penta El Zero Miedo is all set to make his WWE debut soon. There is a good chance of him being Rey Mysterio's partner to take on New Day on Netflix Premiere. Penta's debut was teased earlier this week on WWE Raw and Rey is in the need of a partner. It might just be the right opportunity for a collaboration.

Rey has been dealing with the New Day since their turning against Big E. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston asked Rey to handle their situation being the locker room leader. Initially, the veteran denied it after seeing what the duo did to Big E. But he was willing to give them a chance being the locker room leader.

All Rey wanted was an apology from Woods and Kofi. As the duo denied to apologize, Mysterio claimed the New Day sucks. Backstage on Raw this week, the New Day had a confrontation with Rey. It led to the official announcement of a tag team match on WWE Raw.

Penta and Rey Fenix's transition from AEW to WWE

Kofi and Woods will be taking on Rey Mysterio and an unannounced partner. Fans claimed it could be none other than Penta. On Raw, his debut was teased with a 10-second promo. Given the history Rey and Penta have, fans felt their teaming up could make a perfect sense.

Fans felt Penta would have a good time in WWE. He was released earlier this year by AEW and is likely to make his Stamford-based company debut soon. Unfortunately, Rey Fenix has been undergoing a serious problem. He might take a bit more time to make his WWE debut.

Penta is one if the best in-ring wrestlers currently. Fans felt he could be the next Rey if booked well in the company. He had a great time in Lucha Underground before joining AEW. He had some of the best matches at the time notably with Iyo Sky. There could be a revisit to the feud when the right moment comes.
