Kevin Owens recently claimed that his WWE contract could come to an end earlier than anticipated. The star wrestler was in an interview where he claimed that his current contract with the company was set to end in January 2024. However, he said that it could come to an end a few months before it. The statement from Kevin has given rise to his future in WWE.

Many started to believe that he could make a move to AEW. One of the reports claimed that the company is ready to offer a lot of money. However, the chances of it happening do not seem likely. Kevin is someone whose career began in ROH but gained massive momentum in WWE. He is likely to end his career in the same company.

Kevin's days from NXT helped him to mature as a wrestler. By the time Owens got a main roster callup, he was ready to conquer. And he did exactly that by becoming the world champion. Kevin is all set to celebrate the completion of his 10 years of association with WWE. It could mean a lot to Kevin as he has seen highs and lows in his career. Despite all of it, WWE has taken care of him well.

Kevin Owens likely to re-sign with WWE

For AEW to have any chance to claim Kevin Owens, WWE must botch up badly. However, even after that, someone like Kevin might not be interested in working anywhere else. WWE has probably given everything KO always wanted. He is already a guaranteed Hall of Famer and has nothing to prove. WWE and Owens might be a sign away from extending their partnership for the next few years.

One of the reports from Dave Meltzer in the past had noted "It’s a very good money deal. I think that the feeling was it was more than he would be able to get with AEW. It’s $2-3 million, in that range, per year, so it may be. I don’t want to say it probably will be because I don’t know what AEW would have offered," about Kevin's WWE contract.
