Bronson Reed has been ruled out of the qualifier match for the Intercontinental Championship. The mighty wrestler sustained COVID-19 and might be out of action for the next two weeks. As he was set to be a part of the qualifier match, there seemed to be a wrestler short. Fans claim Joe Hendry to be the replacement for Reed in the match.
The star wrestler took part in the main event of NXT No Mercy against Ethan Page. After losing the match in the presence of Trick Williams as the guest referee, Joe went backstage and had a bit of a talk with Shawn Michaels. He claimed that it was not his night but promised the fans that it was not his end. He claimed to appear anytime, anywhere, and on any show.

A few hours before just a few minutes after the announcement of Reed's condition, Hendry took to X and gave a massive spoiler. he reiterated the fact that he would appear on any show where the fans chant his name. Fans were almost assured that he would be Reed's replacement.
