Brock Lesnar made his shocking return at the WWE SummerSlam 2025 and delivered an F5 to John Cena. However, on WWE SmackDown after SummerSlam, Logan Paul challenged Cena for a match at the Clash in Paris. As the match is now official, it is worth wondering if Lesnar would be the one to retire Cena from WWE.
Lesnar made his unexpected return at SummerSlam and attacked Cena to confuse the fans. Their segment was likely to be addressed on WWE SmackDown after the first-ever 2-nighter PLE, given Cena was scheduled to appear in Montreal. While the Leader of the Cenation Army did appear, the Best didn't.

Instead, Logan Paul showed up and challenged Cena for a match at the Clash in Paris. In 2025, the major PLEs left are Crown Jewel and the Survivor Series. The latter is probably the biggest PLE left in the year, which seems ideal for the match between Cena and Brock. However, it needs to be seen if they take part in the War Games or not.
Why is Brock Lesnar not ideal to retire John Cena from WWE?
Neither Cena nor Brock has ever been a part of the War Games match. It could be great for them to experience it, which would then mean them facing either the Crown Jewel or Cena's PLE, where he is reported to retire on the 27th of December.

However, if Brock is the one to retire Cena, it makes little sense, as the Beast is in the fag end of his career and does not need such a big moment. Hence, their match is likely to take place at the Crown Jewel or the Survivor Series, which could be the final match of their feud.
