Who can dethrone Oba Femi as NXT North American Champion?

Oba Femi successfully defended his NXT North American Championship at No Mercy against a force like Tony D'Angelo. He is arguably the most dominant champion in WWE currently. The star wrestler has faced some of the best wrestlers in the world and has yet to lose a match since becoming the champ. His title reigns have been filled with some great matches.

Some of his opponents include Dijak, Joe Gacy, Joe Coffey, Wes Lee, Ivar, and Tony D'Angelo. Against all his opponents, Femi won clean and established his status as a great champion. He almost looks like an invincible force who is difficult to beat. There is a likelihood of him being the champion till April 2025 when drafts take place. Femi is likely to get the main roster call-up next year.

There are not many wrestlers who can dethrone him. In the current NXT roster, none except Trick Williams seem to have what it takes to beat him. He has elevated the North American title so much that the NXT title seems pale in front of it. So, for someone to dethrone Oba Femi, they must deliver the performance of their career.

Jacob Fatu and Moose, the ideal candidates to beat Oba Femi

It must be made believable for the fans who have witnessed his incredible title reigns. Oba should lose only to those who have the same or better aura and character. The ones who could have a chance of it are Moose and Jacob Fatu. The former is a TNA star who might have to appear on NXT and challenge Femi which is a dream match for many.

In the past, the duo have expressed their wish to take on each other. It might be a great feud if it comes to reality. If not Moose, Jacob Fatu seems to be the ideal candidate. The Bloodline is always behind the gold and would love to see Fatu bringing it home. The fact that both Jacob and Moose are heels would make the feud easier.
