The reign of Vince McMahon as the WWE Boss is often met with severe criticism from the fans. While many credit him for the success of the company from 1997 to 2007, others criticize him for several bookings. It's time to look at what would've happened if Vince McMahon had not stepped down as WWE Boss to make a way for Triple H.

After Triple H took over the comapny, a lot of changes have been observed. Many have openly claimed that the company has gotten better under HHH than it was under Vince. Since Hunter got the entire authority of the creative team, some of the major highlights have been the return of CM Punk, The Rock turning heel, Cody Rhodes finishing his story, the formation of TKO, and so on.

If Vince McMahon was still the WWE Boss, one could have never witnessed the return of CM Punk. Given the past between the two, there was no way Punk would've been approached for a Chapter 2 in WWE.

Great creative possibilities that could've never happened!

Likewise, Cody Rhodes finished his story at WrestleMania XL. One might not understand how big a deal it was Triple H to switch from a Rock-Roman Mania to a Cody vs Roman and Rock Mania. The American Nightmare did not just get two main event matches, but went on to finish his story.

If Vince was the boss and the fans went, "We want Cody" on Internet for over a week, there was a good chance of it not being consdiered. There was a chance of Roman vs The Rock being one of the main events. With that, another possibility would've been vanished as well.

As Roman was heel back then, The Rock would have remained the face. We might not have witnessed the gimmick of the Final Boss. Likewise, TKO was formed and WWE has been in collaboration with promotions like TNA, UFC, and others. If Vince was the WWE boss, there might not have been WWE's inclusion in it and hence no room for the beautiful NXT-TNA crossovers.
