A WWE Superstar has commented on the poor quality of ropes used at the Clash at the Castle. It is none other than Shayna Baszler, who wrestled in Glasgow. The star of the women's division teamed up with Zoey Stark and took on the duo of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill with Alba and Isla for the women's tag team championship. Shayna reviewed the match and praised her teammate.

The former NXT star claimed that there were rope issues but Zoey performed well. Baszler said that Zoey nailed three perfect springboards and demanded an MVP status for her tag partner. "Ropes issue but @ZoeyStarkWWE nails 3 perfect springboards. MVP status," wrote Baszler on her social media handle. An important point to note from her post is the issue with ropes.

There were many mishaps that took place in the arena. Many claimed it to be due to the poor quality of ropes being used in the ring. Many addressed it and blamed the WWE management for not taking care of it. Some of the wrestlers could not deliver their best due to the quality of the ropes. Some failed to execute their moves and others sustained injuries.

Damian Priest sustained an injury on his right leg which seems to be serious. AJ Styles suffered a pin on his leg and had to be carried from the ringside by the referee and the security guards. Jade Cargill slipped from the ropes in an attempt to deliver a springboard. A video has gone viral on X where the referee was seen instructing Styles that the ropes were not good.

This might be the first instance of poor-quality ropes being used in a WWE PLE in a long time. It cost the wrestlers big time as they risked a lot to deliver the goods. It was not the only mistake in the night. There were some errors in the graphics. The match card for the WWE Championship had Cody Rhodes' name being used as a Women's tag team title card.
