WATCH: WWE legend The Great Khali takes holy dip in Mahakumbh

The Great Khali, a former World Heavyweight champion and member of the WWE Hall of Fame, went to Prayagraj to attend the Maha Kumbh. Fans rushed to engage with The Great and take photos with him as the former WWE Superstar ignited a frenzy. The duration of The Great Khali's stay in Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh is unknown. 

Following his stint with the WWE, The Great Khali has been active on Instagram, sharing images and videos of himself having fun away from the ring. While surrounded by admirers in Prayagraj, the former WWE star posted the footage to social media. The WWE Hall of Famer, who seemed composed and amenable to the fans' demands for photos, received a lot of excitement from the crowd.

With his towering height and unmatched strength, The Great Khali started his professional wrestling career in 2000 and made a historic debut in the WWE in 2006. On April 7, 2006, he made his SmackDown debut and quickly established himself as a terrifying villain by dominating The Undertaker.

The Great Khali accomplished many big achievements in the WWE

The Great Khali accomplished many firsts throughout the years, chief among them becoming the first WWE World Heavyweight Champion to be born in India. His fierce rivalries with Big Show and Triple H shaped his career, and he rose to fame with the Khali Vise Grip, a deadly finishing move. Khali continued to be involved with WWE, occasionally making appearances, even after he left full-time combat in November 2014 to concentrate on training up-and-coming wrestlers in India. 

At WWE Battleground 2017, he made one of his most famous comebacks by helping Jinder Mahal keep the WWE Championship by interfering in a Punjabi Prison match. The Great Khali was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021 as a tribute to his achievements in the business. During his appearance at the WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, he made a passing reference about getting back in the ring despite this remarkable honor.
