There were several great moments and unexpected comebacks in the Men's Royal Rumble contest. Perhaps the biggest surprise of the entire pay-per-view was Christian's reappearance. Christian to the ring and supported WWE Hall of Famer Edge, his closest buddy. To the joy of fans, the two collaborated for a considerable amount of time. Christian's unexpected return to the ring was recently highlighted by WWE veteran Edge, who on Saturday added another amazing chapter to his incredible comeback by winning the 2021 Royal Rumble battle. Edge stated that this is "wrestling at its purest best."

When Christian stepped down the ramp once again, he said that it was a "beautiful moment," and he was thrilled and proud. Edge continued, saying that it was a lovely sight to watch Christian enter the ring after walking down the ramp, even if he was aware that he had been cleared previously. In addition, he expressed his pride in the wrestler and acknowledged the hard effort the athlete had put into improving his condition.

The WWE veteran Edge triumphed in the 2021 Royal Rumble battle at the ThunderDome inside Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, adding yet another magnificent chapter to his already spectacular comeback. On the WWE Backstage special on Saturday night, Edge was revealed as the number two competitor; however, the Rumble was once again changed so that Edge would begin as the top contender.

Edge won Royal Rumble by defeating Randy Orton

The winner of Royal Rumble, Edge, reminisced about the time his closest buddy Christian unexpectedly returned to the ring at Royal Rumble 2021. Christian hadn't competed in a legitimate bout since 2014, except for an unofficial segment on Raw in June 2020. After initially retiring due to an injury, Christian unexpectedly came back for the Royal Rumble bout in 2021. Randy Orton, aka "The Viper," was the last opponent Edge defeated. Orton faked a knee injury backstage for much of the bout before making a comeback at the finish.

Edge participated in a backstage interview following the game. In the interview, Edge mentioned Christian coming back. According to Edge, the experience was conceivable during the Royal Rumble but would not have been viable in Hollywood. Edge said, "I'll enjoy the moment instead of thinking too much about it," as he concluded.
