Ahead of WrestleMania 21, Stone Cold Steve Austin appeared in a commercial that was inspired by the Hollywood movie Gladiator. The ad featured a small promo in which Stone Cold gave an indirect warning to his opponent from the major PLE. The theme of the PLE itself was 'WrestleMania goes Hollywood'. The event had a great match card featuring some of the best wrestlers of the time.
In the ad, the theme was the king asking the gladiator to dare to show his back to him. The King would then ask the Gladiator to remove his helmet and tell his name. That's when Stone Cold stopped for a second. The king asked the gladiator who he was.

Stone Cold claimed himself to be a master of the middle finger and pointed the same to the king. The crowd came up with the "What" chants. The star wrestler added that he was the master of the sorry sons of b**ches. He further claimed himself to be the beer drinker among the beer drinkers.
The WWE Superstar claimed himself to trust none. Stone Cold then turned his back and removed his helmet. He claimed himself to be Stone Cold Steve Austin and ensured to unleash hell. In a way, it acted as a good way to hype the return of the star wrestler to WrestleMania.
The 21st edition of the biggest wrestling event had a stacked match card. It witnessed the debut of the Money in the Bank ladder match which was won by Edge. Batista and Triple H took on each other for the World Heavyweight Championship. John Cena's era began by defeating JBL to claim his maiden world title.
The Undertaker beat Randy Orton to extend his WrestleMania streak. The event took place at held at Staples Center in Los Angeles. About 20193 people attended the event and the tickets for the same were sold out in about a minute. Millions of fans from over 190 countries saw the PLE.
