WATCH: The Rock shows his elbow injury received while filming

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is presently shooting The Smashing Machine, an anticipated movie on UFC great Mark Kerr. The WWE Superstar will play the lead role in the film. However, he resorted to social media to inform his supporters that he had sustained an elbow injury on set.

At WrestleMania XL, The Rock returned to in-ring combat as part of a tag team bout. On the first night of The Show of Shows, the Hollywood celebrity Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. The Final Boss was last seen on RAW following WrestleMania when he appeared to congratulate Cody Rhodes on winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on Night Two of WrestleMania XL. The People's Champion announced that he would return for the belt and make Rhodes pay.

The Rock has been on break since then, filming The Smashing Machine. The former WWE champion turned to social media to show off his elbow injury and explain it to his followers.

Brahma Bull makes a comeback

The edition of RAW following WrestleMania XL began with the WWE Universe congratulating Cody Rhodes, the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. The Brahma Bull makes an appearance during the episode to celebrate The American Nightmare.

The Attitude Era legend entered the ring and announced that he would return to capture Rhodes' championship to revenge his cousin's loss at The Show of Shows. During the exchange, The Great One delivered an item to The American Nightmare. The WWE Universe has been wondering about what it is, and Cody has chosen to let them know.
