WATCH: The Rock asks Cody Rhodes' soul and leaves him shocked on WWE Smackdown

The Rock came up with a shocking demand as he asked Cody Rhodes' soul on WWE Smackdown. The Final Boss claimed he would take the American Nightmare to new heights even he couldn't reach. The Great One gave an ultimatum till the Elimination Chamber 2025 for Cody to think, ask his family members, and reply to his offer.

The Rock returned to WWE Smackdown for the first time in over 9 months and made a huge announcement. He confirmed New Orleans to host WrestleMania 42 on the 11th and the 12th of April. He had a remix added to his theme song. The Final Boss then asked Cody to come to the arena and have a long conversation.

The Rock recalled the last time they shared the ring. He said his meeting on WWE Raw's Netflix Premiere was special and claimed to have become a friend. The Rock unveiled the images of Mamma Rhodes and Mamma Rock becoming friends as well. He then expressed his wish to see Cody as his brother.

Cody Rhodes to announce his decision at the Elimination Chamber 2025

The Rock reminded Cody of the things that happened between them last year where they insulted each other's family and slapped each other. The Final Boss claimed it was the reason Cody was special to him as none had the dare to slap him. The Great One said he always wanted a brother like him.

The Rock said he wanted Cody to be his champion. He reminded Rhodes had about millions of fans on social media compared to his count of about half a billion. He wished to see Cody reaching heights he couldn't with him being the Director of the TKO Board.

As Cody wanted The Rock to be precise, the latter pointed at Cody and said he wanted it. As Cody wondered if The Rock meant the world title, the Great One said he wanted his soul. The American Nightmare was shocked to hear what The Rock wanted. However, the Final Boss gave Cody some time to think and reply to him at the Elimination Chamber 2025.
