WATCH: Seth Rollins' segment with CM Punk reminds fans of old promo featuring John Cena and The Miz

Seth Rollins and CM Punk's promo on WWE Raw reminded the fans of an old promo featuring John Cena and The Miz. As Seth and Punk took a dig at each other's wives, John had similarly taken a similar dig at Maryse in the old promo. Both the promos featured the stars speaking about the incapability of their opponents to have a baby.

In the latest episode of WWE Raw, both Seth and Punk cooked each other on the mic with arguably the segment of the year. The duo went personal and targeted each other's wives and choices. While CM Punk was the first to start the conversation, Seth replied to him with a hard fact to digest.

The second city saint claimed that Seth's wife Becky Lynch was out of action as she dropped the ball similar to Stone Cold Steve Austin. Rollins replied saying it was fine as she was raising their children at home something which was not relatable to Punk. In the process, Seth took a dig at AJ Lee and Punk not having a child.

What happened in the promo between the Miz and John Cena?

The promo was similar to the one in the past between Cena and The Miz. It was the time when Cena and Nikki Bella were paired in a mixed tag-team feud against The Miz and his wife Maryse. Cena said something that didn't go well with the Miz.

The Leader of the Cenation Army asked how many kids Maryse and The Miz had. Cena replied to it himself saying the duo had none. The 16-time world champion then took a sharp physical jibe at The Miz by smashing his private part. 

The segment went viral on social media and the fans felt Rollins did something similar to it. Both Seth and John took a dig at the personal lives of their opponents. The difference was that Seth had a kid while cutting the promo. On the other hand, Cena did not have a child either back then or currently.
