Rusev returned after 2020
Since his exit from All Elite Wrestling in February, there has been much conjecture over Rusev's potential return to WWE. Meanwhile, Rusev's manager and real-life wife, Lana, did not participate. It's currently unknown if or when Lana will join Rusev. Rusev reportedly signed a new contract, which led to speculation that he was returning to the business.
He spent months sitting at home under Tony Khan's guidance, thus, he didn't do anything in AEW. Nevertheless, Rusev left a significant impression on RAW this week. In February of last year, the former TNT Champion left All Elite Wrestling. At AEW Worlds End 2023, he defeated current WWE talent Andrade El Idolo in his final bout with the organization. After working with WWE for seven years, Rusev was first let go in 2020.
