What is the controversy between Drew McIntyre and LA Knight?
Drew was reportedly unhappy with Knight trying to take center stage during his Royal Rumble elimination. Knight engaged himself with Logan Paul in a sequence where Damian Priest was to eliminate Drew from the match. When Priest was about to eliminate McIntyre from the match, there was an unintentional interruption from Knight.
Drew was legit angry at Knight for his interruption and fumed on his way back to the locker room. Apart from him, many other stars reportedly claimed the same. During Knight's promo on Smackdown, he indirectly accepted his mistake at the Royal Rumble by saying he forgot to get his stuff.
Fans had a mixed reaction to the sequence between the two. While many felt the duo was involved in a 'real fight', others felt it was a work. While some accepted that the duo indeed fought with each other, they felt it was a way to confuse the fans into believing it to be a real fight.
