In the modern era, Roman Reigns has become one of the greatest professional wrestlers in WWE. Over a decade he has been a top star in WWE. He has won nine times WWE titles and six-time WWE World Championship titles. Roman Reigns was the longest wrestler to hold the WWE Universal Championship title before losing to Cody Rhodes at the WrestleMania 40.
In 2020, he won the WWE Universal Championship in a Payback event. He defeated Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman. Ahead of the upcoming mega event in WWE which is SummerSlam 2024 many fans and reports are surfacing about his return to the WWE. He hasn’t appeared since losing his title in WrestleMania 40.
Over the past two years, Roman Reigns' entrance at WWE SummerSlam 2022 is a mostly talked about event. Since his ‘The Tribal Chief’ was set an aura in WWE. The entrance at WWE Summerslam was just for five minutes and 35 seconds, where he was accompanied by The Usos and Paul Heyman. The SummerSlam match was against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Universal Championship title.

No update on Roman Reigns' return
The SummerSlam 2024 will be taking place on 3rd August 2024 at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. After WrestleMania SummerSlam is the biggest event in WWE. This time SummerSlam will mark its 37th anniversary and is the third longest ongoing event in WWE after Survivor Series and WrestleMania. SummerSlam has high stake matching taking place and may break many records of sales of tickets and fans. Cleveland Browns stadium has a capacity of 67,431. As per reports 48,595 tickets have been sold out and around 60,000 fans are expected to see SummerSlam live.
However, there is no update on Roman Reigns' return for the upcoming event in SummerSlam 2024. So far seven matches are going to take in SummerSlam 2024 and six of them are going to be title matches in both men’s and women’s. The main event will be Cody Rhodes taking on The Bloodline's current leader Solo Sikoa. In this match, Roman Reigns may interfere to take on Solo Sikoa who has beat Paul Heyman.
