WWE India took to social media and posted the video of John Cena wishing the fans on Diwali. The star wrestler wore his red T-shirt specially dedicated for his retirement tour. He claimed to have a special place for India in his heart and wished everyone celebrating the festival a Happy Diwali. The fans were happy to see his wish.
John and India have recently had good moments. The star wrestler was in India in September 2023 when there was a live event in Hyderabad. A lot of fans attended the event to witness one of their favorite stars of all-time. John claimed that he waited to be greeted by the Indian fans for a long time.

He got an opportunity to meet some of the top stars of the roster during the meet. Additionally, John Cena met one of his old friends in The Great Khali. The duo had a bit of conversation with each other which had gone viral on social media. John visted India a few months earlier.
John Cena's recent visits to India
In July 2024, the WWE Superstar was in India for the wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Along with him, the Great Khali attended the wedding too. The duo did not get a chance to meet each other. However, they interacted with some of the top guests in the event.
Cena wearing the traditional Indian clothes was one of the highlights of the event. In one of the interviews, Cena spoke about the massive scale in which the wedding took place. He also spoke about the Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and revealed how his suggestion helped him.
The Indian fans reacted to Cena wishing them on Diwali. Many noted that it was not the first instance of him doing so. The star wrestler did the same in 2020 during pandemic and tried to bring smile in the faces of the fans. Fans hoped to see him wrestle in India one last time before he bids adieu to WWE.
