"I’m happy to watch all wrestling, especially when I’m off. When I was out that three months, when one person called me the entire time I was out, that was the time for me to catch up on everything. TNA Impact, AEW, New Japan, the independents," said the Scottish Warrior in the viral video.

I’m happy for the friends making a full-time living in AEW - Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre remembered the time when he had a very small number of options as alternatives when he was fired by WWE in 2014. The former 3MB member claimed having alternative options like AEW, NJPW, and others is a blessing in disguise for the wrestlers for both their living and to reinvent themselves.

"I’m happy to see so many people I’m friends with who are making a full-time living. That wasn’t the case when I was fired in 2014 and reinvented what it meant to be a professional wrestler, using social media as I still do to this day at the top level," added Drew in his statement.

McIntyre said he was in the process of rebranding himself since 2014. He claimed to have used social media as a platform in doing so. The 3-time world champion recalled the time he got to spend away from WWE led to him observing the changes the company went through in a time span of 3-4 years.
