WWE is set to honor John Cena with a special PLE on him with the title 'Ruthless Aggression'. It could take place in December 2025 and be his last appearance in the Stamford-based company as an in-ring wrestler. Some of the biggest Cena rivals like CM Punk, Randy Orton, The Rock, and Kurt Angle could be a part of it.

The term 'Ruthless Aggression' was coined by Vince McMahon when he called the entire WWE locker room in 2002 to rise to the occasion in the absence of then-established stars like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. Kurt was one of the best wrestlers of the time and threw an open challenge to the locker room on Smackdown.
Cena accepted the challenge by making his WWE debut. When Kurt asked what capability and confidence he had to face the very best in the business. Cena replied with 'Ruthless Aggression' and went after Angle. Though John lost the match, he made a mark among the fans and the commentators.
Kurt Angle, Randy Orton, CM Punk, and others who could be a part of the 'Ruthless Aggression'
When Cena offered a shakehand to the Olympic Gold Medalist, he was rejected. To date, Kurt and John have never had an opportunity to revisit the segment in the ring. The duo might have the best opportunity to revisit it if they indeed share a special moment in Boston later this year.
Apart from Kurt, several wrestlers taking part in the PLE might make sense. Punk was Cena's biggest rival in the PG Era and is very much active in WWE. Hence, the duo having a match with each other or even sharing a moment could be one of the best moments of the PLE.
Randy Orton could be Cena's biggest rival alongside Edge. While the latter is in AEW as 'Cope', the former is active in WWE as ever. The best way to honor Cena would be to let him wrestle with or against Orton. Apart from them, the likes of Triple H, The Rock, and others could also be a part of the PLE.
