Corey is one of the best commentators in the Wrestling world. Hence, it came as a surprise when he did not show up last week on NXT, especially after announcing on X that he had something to share with the fans. He is yet to open up on his absence from the commentary last week on NXT.
Why Corey Graves was absent on WWE NXT last week?
Everything did not seem to be fine with Graves who did not show up on NXT last week. He took to X and wrote a cryptic message. Graves claimed to be chasing a dream and told not to pursue it. He claimed to be pretty awesome at something adjacent to the dream. Fans concluded it to be his Wrestling and commentary career.
Imagine chasing your dream. Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you’re no longer physically able to pursue your dream. Then you dedicate your life to something 'dream adjacent' and being pretty f***ing awesome at it," wrote Graves on X.
He claimed when the time was to enjoy the fruits of the labor, he was told not famous enough for the role. He claimed it to be the reason behind his absence. "And then, when it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor, being told you’re not famous enough for your own job. Just in case you’ve wondered where I’ve been," wrote Graves on X.
