'Men who redefined tag team' - Triple H on return of Hardy Boyz to WWE NXT

Triple H took to X and reacted to the announcement of the return of the Hardy Boyz to WWE NXT. The WWE CCO claimed Jeff and Matt Hardy to have redefined Tag Team Wrestling for over 25 years. Hunter felt the Hardy Boyz had reached the pinnacle of Wrestling and even jumped off of it to amaze fans from different parts of the world.

Hunter expressed his happiness to welcome the Hardy Boyz back to a WWE ring that will be in action against DQCC next week on NXT in Cincinnati. Triple H posted the image of Hardy Boyz from their days in the Ruthless Aggression Era, their return at WrestleMania, and the match card against DQCC next week on NXT.

"Two men who have re-defined tag-team wrestling for over 25 years. The Hardy Boyz have reached the pinnacle of our industry (and often jumped off of it) to the amazement of fans worldwide… and they return to a @WWE ring NEXT WEEK on #WWENXT in Cincinnati," wrote Triple H on X.

The return of the Hardy Boyz to WWE NXT

Hunter and the Hardy Boyz go a long way in Wrestling. They were a part of WWE right from the Attitude Era. While Triple H had his singles peak in the Ruthless Aggression Era, the Hardy Boyz were a great tag team at the time. When Hunter became Shawn Michaels' tag team partner, the Hardy Boyz had a solo run.

Both Matt and Jeff had a brief high in their singles run before they left the company. Jeff and Matt joined different promotions before they reunited in TNA in 2024. After a few months, they won the TNA Tag Team titles which has helped the elevation of the titles.

To further elevate the Tag Team division of WWE and TNA, a decision is likely to be taken. The first step towards it is having the Hardy Boyz wrestle in WWE. There could be one of the dream matches that could see the Hardy Boyz squaring off against Fraxiom.
