UFC fans give Cody Rhodes reference by trending 'Boring' on X

The reputation of UFC took a hit as the fans were unhappy with the fact that two of their biggest stars, Sean O’Malley and Leon Edwards, lost their belt in the UFC 306. When Dana White posted about the change in titles, the fans expressed their displeasure by trending 'Boring' on X. It was a reference to Cody Rhodes who is considered boring by some WWE fans.

Sean O’Malley and Leon Edwards did not have the best of the nights as they lost the fight to their respective opponents in UFC 306. It did not go well with the fans. Many did not like the fact that two pure fighters lost to two wrestlers. Many of the UFC fans found it boring.

For over 10 hours, the word 'Boring' has been trending on X. "Absolutely obnoxious he has the nerve to celebrate this guy when he just cut a dude from a leader for wrestling too much. This dudes whole game is wrestling and this fight proved it. Boring a*s wrestling match, won’t stay up for any of his main card fights in the future," one of the fans expressed.

Why Cody Rhodes is regarded 'Boring' by Roman Reigns' fans?

In the WWE universe, there is an ill reputation for Cody among some of the fans. Many claim him to be boring due to the fact that he beat Roman Reigns who has a better aura than him as a wrestler. When Roman lost to Cody in WrestleMania, it did not go well with his fans.

Since then, there are instances where the fans usually trend the word 'Boring' to taunt Cody as a wrestler. While majority of the pure Wrestling fans understand the fact that Cody Rhodes is one of the best wrestlers on the roster, there seems to be a huge bias against him.

Given the story of Cody since WrestleMania, they could be right. Not many of his opponents have upped the gear in terms of the story. There was nothign much to expect from Cody's feud till Roman reappeared on the scene.
