Paul "Triple H" Levesque, the chief content officer of WWE, has made remarks on the likelihood of Brock Lesnar rejoining the organization. How close is Lesnar to making a possible WWE comeback? Triple H was questioned in a recent London interview with Daily Mail's Mail Sport.
“You’d have to ask Brock Lesnar that,” Triple H said. “Brock does his own thing. He’s up in Canada I’m sure, watching his kids play hockey and enjoying life. If and when he decides that he would like to do something, we’d be open to the conversation. But, we’ll see,” as per The Sportster.
Most people feel WWE has distanced itself from Brock Lesnar because of his involvement in the Vince McMahon sexual claims lawsuit, which suggested Lesnar was involved in indecent behavior against Janel Grant. Grant's complaint alleges that in July 2021, McMahon asked her to generate pornographic content for a WWE superstar he wanted to re-sign. The unknown wrestler, a UFC fighter and WWE star reacted enthusiastically to obscene photographs.
In December, McMahon reportedly supplied Grant's phone number to the wrestler, who subsequently made indecent demands. A scheduled meeting was canceled owing to travel concerns. The timetable implies that there are just a few possible wrestlers. Most believe it was Lesnar.
These statements imply that Lesnar is choosing to remain away rather than WWE opting not to employ him. He was also asked to comment on rumors about MVP and Bobby Lashley, and he stated, "We sign talent, talent contracts expire, we release talent... it's just part of the process, it's ongoing."
Its not yet clear how long Brock Lesnar will opt to stay away from his family
Triple H made no indication that a Lesnar comeback was imminent, but the impression is that Lesnar has complete power over whether or not he returns. The sense is that he wants this whole McMahon situation to be settled or blow over at least his connection to it before returning and perhaps making a commotion.
It's unclear whether Lesnar will opt to stay away and be with his family. He may decide that the reward isn't worth the possible hassle of being subjected to all of the criticism that would certainly come from a significant portion of the WWE Universe who will believe the company doesn't need him and shouldn't give him another shot.
