Toronto's WWE fans booed the United States' National Anthem at the Elimination Chamber 2025. As Elizabeth Irving sang the National Anthem of the USA, the Toronto fans went mad and booed for not singing Canada's national anthem. Pat McAfee at the commentary desk was disgusted to see the disrespect of his country and claimed Canada to be a terrible country.

Before the start of every major PLE, the National Anthem of the United States is usually played. In some of the countries like Australia, France, and the United Kingdom, their national anthems were played. It is not sure why the USA's national anthem was sung when the PLE took place in Canada.

As Elizabeth Irving sang the national anthem of the USA, the fans were disgusted and started to boo the decision of the management. They showed their disapproval by playing the USA's national anthem over that of Canada's. The video went viral on X, Instagram, and other social media platforms. Fans had mixed opinions about it on social media.

Pat McAfee claims Canada to be a terrible country

While some believed it was not good for Toronto's fans to disrespect the National Anthem of the USA, others felt it was a mistake for WWE to execute the National Anthem of the USA when the PLE took place in Canada. Many US citizens who were in the arena were disgusted.

Pat McAfee, one of the top commentators in the WWE universe, who was at the desk, expressed his disapproval of the Canadians. While Pat was happy that it was one of the most stacked Elimination Chamber in the history of the company, he claimed Tornoto and its fans sucked.

Pat claimed Canada to be a terrible country for the disrespect the USA's national anthem suffered. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett at the desk could not control their laughter and ensured that peace was maintained. Fans felt it was intentional for WWE to receive the heat from the Canadian fans. After the sequence, the Women's Elimination Chamber 2025 match started.
