For the 20th October, 2025, episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE has advertised four major programs. Last week on the Red Brand, Seth Rollins was attacked by the Vision members, which will be addressed. Likewise, there will be an update on the Visionary's injury and him potentially vacating his title. Likewise, there are a few other programs scheduled for the night.
Among the matches, three major title defenses are set to happen. It is set to be a big week for some of the wrestlers, who are in the title picture for the first time in a while. Given these title defenses, the upcoming episode of Raw should be worth watching. Some of these titles deserved a much-needed defense, given they weren't defended a lot.

Tag Team Titles
The Men's tag team titles have not been defended in a long time. In fact, it's been over three months since they were defended. After JD McDonagh and Finn Balor regained their titles from the New Day's Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, they haven't been defended on TV. The issue was raised by fans and even critics.

The creative team has decided to address the issue and hence, JD and Finn will defend their titles against Dragon Lee and AJ Styles. Over the last few weeks, Styles and Lee have troubled the Judgement Day members. With Dirty Dom's indirect suggestion to Adam Pearce last week, the match became a reality.
Men's Intercontinental Championship
The Men's Intercontinental Championship continues to be given a high regard. Dominik Mysterio will defend it against Rusev this week. The Judgement Day star had a defense against Penta a few weeks ago, whose match had the interference from Rusev. As Dom finally got over Penta, he'll defend it against Rusev.

The former United States Champion returned on Raw after Mania and has had feuds against Sheamus, Dom, and others. However, Rusev hasn't won the gold yet, which wasn't his focus, as per his admission. The match between Rusev and Dom, however, has been made official for the Men's Mid Card title.
Women's Intercontinental Championship
Laat week on Raw, Maxxine Dupri claimed the biggest win of her career. The Alpha Academy star was scheduled to have a match against Becky Lynch. It turned out to be a good match and The Man was focused on boasting herself of having an upper hand during the match. It turned out to be an ultimate distraction.

The referee counted to ten and the Women's IC Champion did not recognize it. Hence, Dupri claimed a win via countouts. It earned her a shot at the Mid Card title for this week, which will take place in her hometown in Sacramento. The Women's IC Title continues to be the biggest title on the red brand for the Women's Division.
