The Rock gave his opinion on John Cena's final match in December 2025. The Leader of the Cenation Army will wrestle one last time on Saturday Night's Main Event on the 12th of December. However, his final opponent isn't yet decided, which might be revealed in the weeks to come.
When asked on who he wanted to be Cena's final opponent by Travis Kelce, The Rock signaled himself and hinted he would love it to be himself. However, he later spoke about the possibilities of it happening. The Final Boss agreed that he indeed has a bit of influence in making the match possible due to his involvement in the creative booking.

"It's whoever John wants," - The Rock on John Cena's final opponent
The Final Boss, however, claimed that the decision is up for Cena to make, not him, Triple H, or Nick Khan. The Great One said that Cena will get to wrestle whoever he wants to.
Earlier in March 2025, John joined the forces with The Rock against Cody Rhodes, whose story couldn't materialize even slightly. The Rock gave Cena his flowers saying Cena is the same person who presents himself to be. He concluded by claiming the 17-time world champion to be a good guy and added that he loves him.

"You know, I have a tiny bit of influence in the booking of it, but really, it's whoever John wants. It’s not me, Nick Khan, or Triple H. It’s whoever John wants. That guy’s earned it. The best part about John is that he comes as advertised. Who you think he is, that’s who he is, and he’s a good dude, and I love that guy," The Rock said to Kelce Brothers on the New Heights Podcast.
