The Miz joins list of people who wish to wrestle with or against John Cena during his retirement tour

The Miz attended the interview for the promotion of A & E's 'Biography: WWE Legends'. One of the several questions asked to the 2-time Grand Slam champion was about the retirement tour of John Cena. Being one of his greatest rivals, Miz spoke highly of the star wrestler. The 2-time world champion wished to wrestle with or against John during his retirement tour.

The Miz put his name on the list of wrestlers who have wished to face him for one last time. The star wrestler claimed it is fun to be in the ring with the leader of the Cenation Army. "I am putting my name in the hat! I've been in the ring a lot with John Cena and selfishly I'd want more because that's how much fun it is getting into the ring with John Cena," said Miz.

The two were up against each other in a lot of instances. The biggest of them was probably in WrestleMania 27 when The Miz defended the world title, thanks to a bit of assistance from The Rock. The duo was also part of a great 'I Quit' Match in which Cena ended up giving belt treatment to the 2-time world champion. Miz recalled such moments between the two.

He felt the new talent must be able to face Cena. While The Miz claimed to have learned a lot from Cena and hoped to teach them to the youngsters, he felt it would be apt for the Leader of the Cenation Army to teach them himself. The Miz felt the younger wrestlers must experience the energy to be in the ring alongside Cena. Someone like Ilja Dragunov or Bron Breakker can get benefited from it.

"But I also want our new talent to experience John Cena, I can teach what John taught me, it's always better when you have that guy there to teach you. I would want our younger talent to feel that energy," added the Miz in his statement. It would be interesting to see if the duo go up against each other for one last time.
