WATCH: The Great Khali gets eliminated from Royal Rumble after kissing Beth Phoenix

The Great Khali was eliminated from the Royal Rumble 2010 by Beth Phoenix. The Punjabi Playboy had an upper hand over CM Punk and seemed like a force to reckon with. That was when Beth entered the ring as the third participant. The former world champion kissed Khali and eliminated him in the process. The Indian wrestler realized that he was tricked into elimination by Beth.

The Great Khali was a menace when he was in WWE. He had two halves in the company. In the first half from 2006 to 2009, Khali was presented as a destructive force. He created havoc in the roster and took on some of the best wrestlers of the time like Rey Mysterio, Batista, The Undertaker, Mark Henry, John Cena, and so on.

In the period after it, Khali was presented as a jobber and a Punjabi Playboy. During this period, he was asked to do some silly things. One of them was to get eliminated by Beth Phoenix after getting kissed. In the Royal Rumble 2010, Khali entered as the second participant. CM Punk was the first candidate who seemed terrified to face the star wrestler.

Punk tried to distract Khali with his trap of words. However, it did not seem to have an impact on the Indian wrestler. Khali chopped the hell out of Punk. He then came up with the iconic headlock before Punk fell. As the star wrestler waited for his next opponent, there was a surprise. It was Beth Phoenix. The wife of Edge entered the ring and looked into Khali's eyes.

The WWE Hall of Famer lifted her and tried to throw Beth out of the ring. But Beth held on to the apron and kissed Khali. In the process, she eliminated the tall wrestler. The fans and commentators were in shock as Khali was eliminated in one of the most unexpected ways. None were happy with it and expressed their disappointment in the years to come.
