LWO claim win over Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio with special intervention

LWO's duo of Rey Mysterio and Andrade claimed win against Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar. The match in the WrestleMania was set following Dominik's interruption in one of the Friday Night Smackdown episodes. As he came to the assistance of Santos against Rey, the match was set to take place at WrestleMania XL. Rey also got a new partner to face Santos and Dominik.

While Dragon Lee was introduced as the partner of Rey, Andrade eventually joined due to circumstances. Lee was taken out by an undisclosed person in the latest Friday night Smackdown episode. After the match between Zelina Vega and Elektra Lopez, Andrade came to Rey's assistance. Hence, he replaced Lee as the partner of Rey in the WrestleMania XL. The duo claimed win on Night One.

The match was good. All the wrestlers got to spend some time in the arena. Everyone had their moments. Even the ones not in the ring got their moments. Rey removed belt to recreate 2023 but Dominik escaped. Momentarily, they had an upper hand and tried to finish the game. Rey and Andrade executed their skills well. Their competitors were good too.

Special aid for LWO

Legado Del Fantasma's members attacked Rey and Andrade in the background. Carlito and the other members of LWO asked referee to keep a look at the interruption. Just when Santos seemed to be close to winning the match, Andrade delivered some athletic moves to keep LWO in the match. It was helpful, as Rey got some time to recover after taking beating. Things seemed to be getting interesting.

Santos had a good match where he executed his skills well. Momentarily they seemed to have an upper hand. As Dominik and Santos tried to close the match, a special intervention took place. A couple of masked men entered and assisted LWO. As Rey delivered 619 to both Santos and Dominik, he pinned to claim the win. After the match, the masked men revealed themselves to be Travis Kelce and Lane Johnson.
