On the historic first-ever 2-night SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar returned, something which was not anticipated by many. In the Post-Show, Hunter was interviewed by the hosts, where the fans chanted "We want Kross". There has been an argument about whether it was indeed the chant or if the fans chanted "We want Brock", as Hunter claimed they indeed got Brock.

The WWE CCO's statement got a reply from Kross, who took to X and wrote, "Unreal. They write the scripts.. But fans write the truth. Thank you. Tick tock." Since then, there has been a discussion on the status of Kross and his wife Scarlett, whose current contract with WWE is set to end by August 2025.
Braun Strowman claims WWE does not care about its fans
Reportedly, WWE has not discussed any extension of their contract, which has led to speculations about his future in the company. Braun Strowman, who is officially a free agent, replied to Kross' comments on X. He wrote, "You know they don't care about the fans!!! They care about nepotism a*s kissers and their buddies."

Both Kross and Strowman's tweets have gone viral on X, Instagram, and other social media platforms. While some fans agreed to their takes, given some of the wrestlers like R Truth, LA Knight, and Carmelo Hayes haven't been booked well lately, others felt such instances happen every now and then due to the nature of the business.
