WATCH: Solo Sikoa makes Cody Rhodes bleed on WWE Smackdown

Cody Rhodes started to bleed during his match against Solo Sikoa on WWE Smackdown. The world champion was burst open by Solo leading to the flow of blood. Cody wanted to climb up the cage and escape to retain the title. But Solo was quick to react and pulled him down leading to bleeding. It turned out to be a great match between the duo.

The night started with Triple H hyping up the crowd and the show. The WWE CCO ensured that the new look of the blue brand met the hype and kickstarted the new era of Smackdown. He remembered his match with The Rock in the past and let the fans know.

There was a pyro burnt soon after it and the match between Solo and Cody was all set to happen. Solo was the first to enter and was booed by the fans. Then walked Cody for a good pop. The fans sang his song and showed their support.

Solo Sikoa delivers the match of his career

For the most part of the match, Solo dominated the proceedings. He was in the ring to hunt the world champion. The new Head of the Table took the challenge to the American Nightmare and almost had him at one point in time. Cody Rhodes realized that it was not going to be an easy night for him.

He tried to climb up the cage to try and escape Solo. The new Tribal Chief realized it and dragged the world champion back to the ring. In the process, Rhodes' head was burst open and he started to bleed. the commentators recognized it and pointed out how intense the match was.

Cody did not give up and started to fight back. Solo delivered the match of his life and ensured that Cody was taken to his limits. It was great to see Solo nearly beating Cody all by himself without the support of the rest of the members of the Bloodline. Unfortunately, it was not his night.
