Dijak seemed to be on the verge of a career comeback in WWE. After an excellent three-year run in Ring of Honour, the big man joined the sports entertainment powerhouse in 2017. The former ROH Top Prospect Tournament winner rebranded as Dominik Dijakovic, enjoyed success in NXT as one of the brand's upper midcarders during its cable TV debut.

He spent two years on the main roster as T-BAR, a part of the critically criticized group RETRIBUTION, before returning to NXT in 2022 as Dijak. During this stint in NXT, Dijak produced his greatest work in WWE, shining in NXT North American Title bouts and winning over the Performance Centre fans. He was picked by WWE Monday Night Raw as part of the WWE Draft in April, although he never appeared on the show.

A fresh revelation has surfaced, depicting WWE employees' instant reactions to a surprise resignation. WWE Raw hero Dijak stated Thursday morning that the business has opted not to extend his contract. He stated that his WWE contract will expire on Friday, June 28th.

Dijak's contract problem has been in the headlines

For some months, Dijak's contract problem has been in the headlines. On April 30th, it was reported that Dijak has yet to be approached regarding a new WWE contract. Despite this, both Dijak and WWE claimed to be "confident" in reaching an agreement on a new contract.

The announcement surprised both fans and analysts, given that Dijak was just promoted from the NXT developmental brand to Monday Night Raw. It appears that people behind the scenes are just as perplexed as the others. It's unclear what Dijak's next step will be, but it's reasonable to expect that many independent promotions will want his services. Fans have also urged Dijak to tour Japan, citing his hard-hitting technique in the ring.
