WATCH: Cody Rhodes returns to WWE SmackDown with message for John Cena

Cody Rhodes walked out to the ring when he entered the ring with a WWE belt and spoke about the match with John Cena at WrestleMania 41. John Cena will face Cody Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed title.

WWE SmackDown's April 11 episode took place in Seattle, Washington's Climate Pledge Arena. As the road to WrestleMania 41 gets underway, it's unclear what will be done to promote the event, particularly concerning Cody Rhodes' bout. At WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes is scheduled to defend the WWE Undisputed Title against John Cena. Cena turned heel after winning the 2025 Elimination Chamber which changed his image in the WWE Universal.

As the show went on, Cody Rhodes walked out to the ring. He entered the ring with a WWE belt and spoke about the match with John Cena at WrestleMania 41. Cody Rhodes entertained fans before making harsh comments on John Cena. According to him, Cena is attempting to destroy the company's history and all that the next twenty champions will bring. Later when Cody Rhodes announced that John Cena had chosen not to attend SmackDown in Seattle, the crowd booed.

Cody then brought up John's claim that he is a common fan because of his tattoo. He wants to be famous, which is why Rhodes wears such elegant outfits to the ring, so he doesn't see anything wrong with that. Rhodes went on to say that when he finds himself in a tight spot, he fights to the best of his abilities. According to Rhodes, he informed Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar of this.

 Although Cena is aware that his time is running out, he will continue to be the champion until Cody Rhodes' time runs out. Cody declared that the championship would remain with him while holding it up in the air. There is a lot of excitement in the wrestling community as John Cena prepares to battle Cody Rhodes for his Undisputed Championship at WrestleMania 41. When the Cenation Leader attacked the "American Nightmare" on The Rock's instructions after winning the match's title at Elimination Chamber 2025, Cody Rhodes and John Cena's animosity began.
