When discussing WWE or the specific management of a superstar, WWE icon Rikshi isn't afraid to say what he thinks. After criticizing the WWE creatives for not pushing his son Jey Uso for the championship bout, he recently sparked some controversy for himself. Speaking now, Rikishi claimed that a SmackDown wrestler who was becoming popular was being pushed too soon and wasn't receiving proper management from the organization. Here, we are discussing the wrestler Jacob Fatu.
Not only does Jacob Fatu have no prior independent success, but he is also very fresh to the WWE. He has made appearances for both New Japan Pro Wrestling and Major League Wrestling, although he wasn't a big attraction for either organization save for when he held the MLW Openweight Championship. On the contrary, it seems that he is a wonderful match for WWE. He fills a genuine void on the team and has the makings of a star.
In an interview on his Off the Top podcast, Rikishi discussed Jacob Fatu and stated that the WWE should first hold more enhancement bouts to build him up as a potential opponent rather than seeing Jacob destroy Rhodes at first.
"I Think Jacob is being pushed too fast. When you go to Cody, where do you go from there? Cody is the guy right now. I've said this before, let Jacob rampage through the whole roster. Give him couple of those enhancement matches to build. He doesn't need but three minutes," as per WrestlingInc Riskishi stated.
The Bloodline will face Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns
One of the highly regarded superstars on the WWE roster right now is Jacob Fatu. On June 21, 2024, the eagerly awaited 32-year-old Samoan wrestler makes his SmackDown debut. Only in his debut, Fatu took his frustrations at Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens.
On his debut, he put the current WWE Champion through the announce table, especially going after Cody Rhodes. Jacob Fatu hasn't been completely destroyed by Rhodes in any phase thus far. That may change, though, on WWE's next PLE, Bad Blood, which takes place on October 5 and features Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns facing off against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
