Rhea Ripley teases waffle house celebration with Jey Uso

Rhea Ripley teased a potential celebration of Jey Uso's Intercontinental Championship win in a waffle house. On Raw, the Main Event Jey had won his maiden singles title in his WWE career by beating Bron Breakker. Mami celebrated the hardest alongside Rikishi. She replied to the latter's post on X and hinted a potential celebration in a waffle house.

Rikishi took to X and wished his son's major win. He also felt there was a need to celebrate Mami. He asked everyone to throw their hands in the air and be proud and loud about Jey's win. Mami could not help but to react to the former Superstar's post on X.

Jey Uso's journey to singles gold

For a long time, a major singles titles eluded from the illustrious career of Jey Uso. Since becoming a WWE Superstar in 2010, he has won the tag team titles a multiple number of times. The tag titles were more relvant than ever when Jey and Jimmy Uso held on to them for a long time.

However, he hadn't held a singles championship in his 14 years of WWE career. Jey is set on a mission to achieve major things that he can win. He separated from the Bloodline after Summerslam 2023 and went from Smackdown to Raw. He was not welcomed well in the new roster.

It was Cody who tried to help Jey get along well in the new roster. In the days to come, Jey established himself as the most 'over' wrestler getting fans to be literally behind him. It ensured that the creative team had option but to help Jey win his maiden solo title in the form of IC Championship.
