Rey Fenix finally gets rid of AEW roster, potentially set to move to WWE

Rey Fenix is removed from AEW's active roster. The Luchadore might finally be relieved after everything that happened between him and the AEW management. The star wrestler could potentially make a move to WWE where Penta made his debut a few months ago. He could potentially reunite with Penta as the tag team partner.

Rey had a tough time in AEW in the last few months as he found it difficult to make his exit. While he wanted a quick exit from the company, Fenix was reportedly held longer than one would have expected. Many claimed it was intentional from AEW to mentally damage Fenix before his eventual release.

According to the latest update, it looks like Fenix will finally be able to move from AEW. Fenix's name was removed from the current roster which might be a good news for him. Fans saw it as a good move as Fenix will not just get a chance to move to a different company, but will also get a chance to have a regular screen time.

Is Rey Fenix set to make his move to WWE sooner than later?

Many felt WWE would be his new destination, as many top Luchadores in the Wrestling world are in demand. A similar wrestler was Penta who made his debut on WWE Raw a week after the Netflix Premiere. Penta has already made a name for himself in his brief stint with WWE.

Likewise, Fenix is a wrestler who can shine in WWE if given a chance. There has been a search for an able Luchadore replacement of Rey Mysterio over the last few years. Penta and Fenix might be the best options in terms of their in-ring skills.

Not to forget, Fenix and Penta were tag team partners when they were in AEW. WWE is in a desperate need to revive their tag team division. The best way to do it might be to reunite Penta and Fenix in the tag division. Reports claim Fenix might make his WWE debut sooner than later.
