AEW's reaction to the "Tony Fumbled" chants has been revealed. Fightful's The Hump reported that AEW does not care about what the chants meant to their business or Tony Khan. Sean Ross Sapp believed hardly anyone cared about what the WWE NXT fans thought about Ricky Saints' move from AEW to WWE and Tony's role in it.

Sean claimed that the people in AEW do not give a damn about what the NXT fans chanted during Ricky's first match in WWE. Sean outright claimed that no one in AEW was interested in knowing about what the fans chanted. He added that some sent an eye roll back while others concentrated on their upcoming shows.

"They don't give a f**k, man. I don't know what to tell you guys. They don't care, like they don't care. I haven't heard one peep about it. I asked two people specifically, and one person just sent an eye roll back. They were just like, 'Whatever, we've got a show tomorrow.' That's it," said Sean Ross Sapp.

Why did the WWE NXT fans chant "Tony Fumbled"?

Ricky took part in his first official WWE match on NXT earlier this week. The star wrestler teamed up with Je'Von Evans and took on Ethan Page and Wes Lee in the Main Event of the night. The match caught the attention of the fans due to the chants of "Tony Fumbled".

Throughout the match, the chants rocked the arena and went viral on social media. Ricky shone in the match as he took on Wes and his team members all by himself. He used his finisher and pinned Wes to claim a win for his tag team.

Ricky was in AEW as 'Ricky Starks' and was regarded as the future of the company. However, the emerging star was not given a lot of screen time in the last few months. As Ricky's contract with AEW came to an end, he showed up on WWE NXT just a day after his contract. Since then, Tony has been at the gunpoint over 'fumbling' Ricky.
