'Rapping and wrestling are pretty much the same' - Sexyy Red
In one of the interviews, Red spoke about her rejecting the opportunity from WWE to be a permanent wrestler. Red claimed herself to be a fan of Wrestling and found the similarities between it and her Rapping career. The American rapper felt there were not a lot of differences between Wrestling and rapping.
The popular rapper felt both Wrestling and Rapping involved acting though it was not the entire part of the careers. Red felt both rappers and wrestlers had to play a certain character on the screen and return to reality with their family members once they returned home.
"Rapping and wrestling are pretty much the same, it’s not quite acting, but it’s kind of acting too, right? Because when we go home and take off all our jewels and gold and remove the costumes we wear, we then have to go right back to reality with our families," said Red.
