Ricky Starks took to Instagram and posted a story to react to his WWE NXT debut. The former AEW Superstar posted the image of a singer and allegedly took a dig at Tony Khan and Co. His move has increased discussions about AEW potentially damaging themselves by letting him go to WWE and not giving enough screen time in the last few months.

Ricky took just 24 hours to make a move from AEW to WWE. As his contract came to an on the 10th of February 2025, Ricky showed up on WWE NXT on the 11th of February 2025. Not many roster changes happen as quickly as they did in Wrestling leading to many speculations.

In the last few months in AEW, Ricky did not get as many opportunities as he would have liked. His screen time was reduced and the contract was nearing an end. Starks found WWE NXT as an alternative and made an impactful debut. Since then, there has been a great reception from the WWE fans.

While many claimed AEW dropped the ball with Ricky, others felt there was nothing as such. Ricky was welcomed by many WWE Superstars like Bayley and CM Punk. He then took to Instagram and reacted to his WWE NXT debut with an Instagram story where he posted the image of a singer.

The post went viral on social media and the fans claimed it to be a troll against AEW and Tony. While Ricky has maintained his cryptic message to be indirect, fans deduced their meaning from it. Many felt it was as if to ask Tony how he was doing.

Ricky's debut has been the talk of the Wrestling world. Many feel the NXT brand needed someone to be their face of the Men's division with not a lot of Male wrestlers outside Oba Femi and Trick Williams doing as well as one would have liked. There are high expectations from the fans and the creative team regarding Ricky.
