'Punk couldn't out politic The Rock' - Fans react as Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa set to headline main event of Netflix Premiere

Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa is set to headline the main event of WWE Raw's Netflix Premiere, unlike Michael Cole's claim of CM Punk vs Seth Rollins being the main event of the night. Fans claimed it would be a blunder if The Rock did not show up and make a big decision during or after the Tribal Combat.

During the kickoff event of Netflix Premiere a few days ago, Cole as the host of the event claimed the main event of WWE Raw on the 6th of January to be the match between CM Punk and Seth. However, sources from WWE have confirmed the main event of the night to be the match between Roman and Solo.

Fans have not been too happy with the decision to let the Bloodline feature the main event of yet another big event. The majority of PLEs apart from the Royal Rumble have featured Bloodline stars in the main event. Fans wished to see a different match to headline the main event.

Why CM Punk vs Seth Rollins match deserves to be the main event of Netflix's Premiere

With the Bloodline story, there is always room for the addition and the return of various members apart from the twists in the tale. For instance, the upcoming big event could see The Rock potentially being involved in the Bloodline Civil War Story. 

However, there is a genuine reason why Punk vs Seth should have headlined the main event of the night. Their feud has been in the making for over 10 years. Their story makes more sense than the Bloodline story. Roman being a bigger draw than both Punk and Seth might be the only reason for choosing the main event of the night.

There have been instances where the Bloodline headlining the main event did not live up to the expectations. The 6-man tag team match at the Money in the Bank did not live up to the expectations. Likewise, the Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood between Punk and Drew was better than Bloodline's main event.

Fans love Roman Reigns these days for the same reason they hated John Cena for stealing everyone’s spotlights and always being in the main events. How’s Roman v Solo a bigger match than Punk v Rollins is totally beyond me.
