The first round is set to feature eight matches, of which four have concluded. On Raw last week, Sheamus and Rusev beat Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest, respectively. On the other hand, on SmackDown, Jey Uso and LA Knight beat The Miz and a returning Zack Ryder.

Gunther is reported to be the one to retire John Cena from WWE. If what reports claim is to be believed, he will be the favorite to beat not just Evans, but all his opponents in the tournament. It will, however, be a good opportunity for the Young OG to shine in a big match.

Who could be Solo Sikoa's mystery opponent?

The second match will be interesting, as Solo will be up against a mystery opponent. The Raw GM, Adam Pearce, claimed that the opponent will be a huge surprise and would be someone one would have never guessed or expected. If his claim is to be believed, it could be someone outside of WWE.

If it is from WWE, one could make a case for someone like Jacob Fatu, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, or even Uncle Howdy. However, at this point, it's difficult to predict who he might face. Hence, predicting the result of the second matchup is hard without knowing who Solo will be up against.
