Paul Heyman returned to WWE Smackdown for the first time since being taken out by the new Bloodline. The Wiseman assisted the OG Bloodline when it mattered the most for them. As the OTC's team did not have a fifth member and was ready to be a 4-member team, Heyman returned and claimed that it need not be the case. He returned with CM Punk as the fifth member of the OTC's team.

Earlier in the night, Solo Sikoa asked Roman to acknowledge him to end the fight between the two sides. Backstage on Smackdown, the Usos and Sami discussed with the Roman about their strategies. The OTC felt there wasn't a need for a fifth member. He claimed the four of them were enough to take on the new Bloodline.

Sami Zayn suggested the names of Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. However, Roman was not happy with them. He ensured the Usos and Sami agreed for them to take on the Bloodline with just them being the team. With the same intensity, they entered the ring.

CM Punk joins OG Bloodline as the fifth member ahead of War Games

Solo claimed he still loved all in the OG Bloodline. Before anyone could say anything, Paul Heyman popped out of nowhere. The fans were happy to see him for the first time after a long time. He claimed it would not be a 4 vs 5 series for the War Games.

The Wiseman announced that it would be a 5 vs 5 matches and brought a special person as the fifth member of the OG Bloodline. The music of CM Punk hit and the arena went crazy. The second city saint wasted no time and had a brawl.

The OG Bloodline went against the new Bloodline. It was the OTC's team that stood tall by the end of the night. They cleared the ring and sent a message to Solo. Punk and Roman stared at each other as Heyman watched them from outside the ring. The fans chanted "This is awesome" and gave their approval for the segment.
