NXT Champions appear on Raw ahead of WWE draft 2024

NXT's champions, Roxanne Perez and Ilja Dragunov were in Monday Night Raw a day after night two of WrestleMania XL. Both of them took part in a match and emerged victorious. It seems like both of them would be a part of the WWE draft 2024 which is set to take place later this month. The confirmation for it came from Michael Cole. 

As Ilja entered Monday Night Raw for his match against Shinsuke Nakamura, Cole announced the schedule for the WWE Draft 2024. It will be happening from the 26th of April 2024 on Friday Night Smackdown to the 29th of April 2024 on Monday Night Raw. The aim of the draft is to get the best talents from the NXT roster to the main rosters like Raw and Smackdown.

Dragunov and Perez are some of the best Superstars in NXT who can make it big in main rosters in the days to come. Both of them won the title in the NXT Stand and Deliver. While the 'Czar of NXT' defended his title against Tony D'Angelo, Perez reclaimed her title by beating Lyra Valkyria in the NXT Stand and Deliver. Both were impressive in their performances.

NXT Champions claim win on Monday Night Raw

Both NXT champions were impressive in their Raw debut. Dragunov took on Nakamura soon after the segment between Triple H, The Rock, and Cody Rhodes. He gave a good performance against someone like Nakamura. Though the Japanese wrestler tried his tricks, Ilja overcame them without major troubles. He has been on a roll for a long time and looks ready for the main roster. 

Roxanne gave a good performance too. She took on Indi Hartwell with whom she shares a bit of history in NXT. Perez claimed a win against her former opponent who was accompanied by her current tag partner Candice LaRae. If everything goes well, the fans might be able to see them in the main roster in the coming days. They have what it takes to be amongst the best in the world.
