Nathan Frazer and Axiom win the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship

On the April 9 edition of NXT, Axiom and Nathan Frazer won the NXT Tag Team Titles by beating the Wolf Dogs (Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin). A rematch was scheduled, with the condition that if Axiom and Frazer lost, they would split as a tag team. 

Breakker pulled up before hitting a Spear on Corbin but was kicked into Corbin, knocking him to the outside. Axiom hit the Golden Ratio, and Frazer followed with the Phoenix Splash. Wolf Dogs beat Axiom and Frazer at NXT Stand and Deliver.

In the final minutes, Corbin choked Frazer in a sleeper as Breakker attempted to finish Axiom, but Axiom kicked out. Corbin attempted to pin Frazer, but Axiom broke it up. Frazer and Axiom's joy was short-lived as they were attacked by A.O.P. (Akam and Rezar). The rest of The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Scarlett, and Paul Ellering) made their way to the ring to witness A.O.P. land their 'Super Collider' powerbomb on the two.

Breakker attempted for a spear on Frazer moments later, but Frazer leaped over him, nearly pinning Corbin. Frazer and Axiom took advantage of the situation by sending Breaker out, allowing Frazer to hit the Golden Ratio on Corbin for the three counts.

As a consequence of their victory, Axiom and Frazer are NXT Tag Team Champions for the first time in their history. This represents Axiom and Nathan Frazer's first reign as NXT Tag Team Champions. The Wolf Dogs held the NXT Tag Team Championships for 57 days after defeating The Family (Channing Lorenzo and Tony D'Angelo) on the February 13 edition of NXT. They had two successful championship defences.

While Axiom and Frazer were celebrating, The Final Testament made their way down to the ring and proclaimed the new champions. AOP held up the tag titles to end the program.
