Mone was in an interview with TV Insider, where she was asked about WWE's strategy of counter-programming against AEW. The former WWE Superstar cared less about WWE and was focused more on herself. She regarded her as the champion of multiple companies and added that her focus is to deliver good matches and eventually result in good shows.

"I don’t watch them. I don’t care about them. I'm 'Eight Belts Moné'. I'm a champion of so many different companies. So the more the merrier. If they want to put on wrestling shows while we have wrestling shows, I'm always going to be better. That's why I call myself 'the CEO'," said Mone in the interview.

The multiple title holder added that she was not concerned about WWE's strategy to stop AEW and said that Tony Khan's company could not be stopped from taking over the Wrestling world. Mone asked viewers to follow AEW if they wanted good and best Wrestling. Mone's statement went viral on X, Instagram, and other social media platforms.

"They can keep on doing whatever they want to do, but AEW is taking over. If you want to watch the best, good wrestling, watch AEW," added Mone in her statement. In 2025, WWE has counter-programmed many of its NXT weekly shows, SNME, and even some of the upcoming PLEs against the AEW shows.
