Mone claimed that she has a locker room for herself in AEW, as she wishes to be away from everyone on the roster. However, she expressed her opinion on the general feeling of the locker room and claimed everyone wants to put in efforts and ensure the growth of the company.
"It’s night and day. Well, first, I have my own locker room, so that has helped me a lot. I’m not in it, but I like being away from it, I don’t wanna be a part of drama or anything, but when I am around the girls, it just feels like such a community of wanting to make this place grow," said Mone in the Marking Out w/MVP & Dwayne Swayze show.

"I don't want to say like, 'oh, WWE was bad' or people are like, egos," - Mercedes Mone
She added that there is a hunger in the Women's division in AEW to grow, which is currently not at the level of its potential. She claimed her fellow rivals to be passionate, driven towards the company, fired her up, and claimed it to be entirely different than how WWE was.
"There's a hunger because I feel like we still feel so…underground, and we want to make it, like, up here. So all these women have so much drive and passion, and I can feel it. They fire me up. I want to be the best because they want to be the best — It feels so different," Mone added in her statement.

Mone stressed that she did not want to take a shot at WWE but claimed that women in AEW are fighting for a cause. She concluded by saying every woman in the AEW locker room is aspiring to make the company a better place for themselves.
"I don't want to say like, ‘oh, WWE was bad’ or people are like, egos, but it just feels like we're all trying to fight for something. We're trying to fight to make this the best, and I love people who have passion and hunger. So that’s how I feel," Mone concluded.
