Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler to face each other in NXT Battleground in Underground match

Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler will be up against each other in the Underground match in the NXT Battleground. NXT's GM Ava came down to the ring and confirmed the match after the duo was involved in a brawl after the main event of NXT. While Ava announced a match between the two, Shayna raised the stakes and asked it to be an Underground match.

Lola and Shayna had teamed up in the last few weeks for a special purpose. In NXT Spring Breakin, Baszler came to the aid of Vice to take on Natalya, who was coached by Karmen Petrovic. In the first-ever women's Underground match, Lola was able to beat Natalya thanks to a bit of assistance from Baszler. But it seems like Vice was not happy with it.

On the main event of the latest episode of NXT, Lola and Shayna took on Natalya and Karmen. In a good match between the two sides, Natalya and Karmen finally avenged their loss in the previous instances. They delivered the double finisher to Lola and claimed a win via pinfall. Baszler being the respectful of the two, tried to console Lola after being responsible for the pinfall.

First ever women's Underground match in a PLE

Instead of being grateful for her partner, Vice kicked Shayna and started to enjoy the moment with her twerks. As she was in her own mood, Shayna attacked from behind and held the Kirifuda Clutch. Lola found it difficult to get rid of it. Security guards had to come to save the emerging talent. After they were successful in doing so, Ava came to the arena.

The NXT GM made a huge announcement. To settle the deal between the two, she allowed them to have a match in NXT Battleground. In a first of its kind, the PLE of NXT is set to take place in a UFC arena. As Ava announced the match, Baszler asked the match to be played Underground. The duo will be in action in the upcoming weekend.
