The Judgement Day and Liv Morgan (Source: X)
On the June 24 edition of WWE RAW, Women's World Champion Liv Morgan duped R-Truth into handing Judgement Day a crack at the World Tag Team Championship. The main event saw Truth and The Miz defending their belts against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
The match rapidly devolved into mayhem when Morgan arrived at ringside, and Dominik Mysterio and Carlito intervened. Morgan eventually turned on Truth and helped Balor win for his squad. As a consequence, Balor and McDonagh claimed the crowns.
Morgan duped R-Truth into convincing RAW GM Adam Pearce to book an official tag team title fight between Truth and The Miz against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. Furthermore, she went down to the ringside to witness the action.
Chaos ensued, with the rest of The Judgement Day members and Braun Strowman making their presence known throughout the match. However, the match ended shockingly when Liv Morgan assaulted R-Truth, who considered her a friend.
Truth gave both McDonagh and Balor a Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Morgan stood up on the apron to divert his attention. With the referee's back to her, she gave Truth a massive embrace before dropping him neck first on the top rope. To win, Balor climbed to the top rope and executed a Coup de Gras on Truth. As "Raw" aired, Balor and McDonagh joyfully took their newfound tag team gold up the ramp and stood on stage with Morgan.
For first time that McDonagh and Balor have shared the titles
As a result, Finn Balor was able to perform the Coupe De Grace on Truth and pin him to win the contest. As a result, he and JD McDonagh were crowned the new WWE World Tag Team Champions. Morgan then celebrated the triumph with Balor and McDonagh, as her complex connection with Judgement Day continued to develop.
This is the first time that McDonagh and Balor have shared the titles. The tag team championships have been won twice by Balor and Damian Priest. At WWE WrestleMania40, R-Truth and The Miz prevailed in a ladder match to win gold. Their 79-day reign came to an end with the defeat.
